1. Agreement

By using the Bumpi app or website (“Service”), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. These terms apply to all visitors, waitlist members, and users.

2. Not medical advice

Bumpi is not a medical app and does not provide medical advice.

The information and verdicts provided by Bumpi (“Safe”, “Avoid”, “Limit”, “Depends”) are designed to help you make more informed everyday decisions about food and products during pregnancy. They are based on general pregnancy safety guidance and are informational in nature.

Bumpi's output does not constitute medical diagnosis, treatment, or advice, and is not a substitute for guidance from a qualified healthcare provider. Always consult your doctor, midwife, or obstetrician before making decisions about your diet or health during pregnancy.

3. Accuracy of information

We make reasonable efforts to ensure that Bumpi's safety guidance is evidence-informed and up to date. However, pregnancy nutrition research evolves, guidance varies by region, and individual circumstances differ. We cannot guarantee the completeness or accuracy of any verdict for your specific situation. Use Bumpi as one input among several — not as your only source of truth.

4. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Bumpi. By using the Service, you confirm that you meet this requirement. Bumpi is designed primarily for use during pregnancy but may be used by partners, caregivers, and family members supporting a pregnant person.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use Bumpi for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or copy any part of the Service.
• Submit content that is harmful, misleading, or violates anyone's rights.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any system or data.
• Use the Service in a way that could harm or mislead other users.

6. Intellectual property

All content, branding, design, and software in the Bumpi Service is owned by or licensed to us. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission. Nothing in these terms grants you any right to use the Bumpi name, logo, or trademarks.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bumpi and its operator are not liable for:

• Any health outcomes resulting from reliance on information provided by the Service.
• Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Bumpi.
• Service interruptions, errors, or inaccuracies in the app's output.

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

8. Third-party services

Bumpi may link to external websites or use third-party services. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or reliability of any third-party service. Use them at your own discretion.

9. App Store terms

If you download Bumpi through the Apple App Store, your use is also subject to Apple's Media Services Terms and Conditions. In the event of any conflict between these terms and Apple's terms, Apple's terms govern with respect to App Store-specific matters.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms. We will notify registered users of material changes by email.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Morocco. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Morocco.
